Diana Saffo Bono is a self taught artist; the daughter of a Sicilian immigrant and 1st generation Sicilian mother. Growing up in an Italian community, life revolved around family, church, good food, and a passion for living. Simple pleasures.

Bono's passion is her art. She is best known for her brush work and her love and use of color. The medium she works in varies depending on her intent for a particular piece. She is delighted when she sees a viewer smile or is transported to another time and place.
